Teacher engagement plays a critical role in improving educational outcomes and organizational success. However, factors influencing teacher engagement, particularly the role of support and the school environment, have not been adequately reviewed in academic contexts. Maintaining teacher work engagement has a significant impact on the school and its students. The aim of this research is to determine the factors that influence teacher involvement in carrying out their role at school. School support and the school environment are used to determine their influence on teacher work engagement. In addition, the mediating role of the school environment on the relationship between school support and teacher work engagement was tested using structural equation modeling. To achieve this, a four-part survey was used to collect data from 35 teachers. The findings of this research reveal a relationship between school support, teacher knowledge, perceptions of the school environment, and work engagement. Additionally, the school environment was found to mediate the relationship between school support and work engagement. Based on these findings, implications for maintaining teacher engagement and future research are discussed.
